Mommy Makeover Case 303

This patient is a 50 year old female from Scottsdale, Arizona who presented to my Paradise Valley, Arizona medical practice with interest in breast and body improvements after changes brought on by pregnancy and weight loss.

Because this patient was already a full D-cup and did not wish to be much smaller, I recommended a breast lift  with a small amout of tissue removal on the left for better symmetry.  I felt that using the Wise pattern (anchor scar) would give this patient the best result in order to achieve maximum tightening and lift.

With regards to the abdominal region, this patient clearly had lost a tremendous amount of her elasticity due to her multiple pregnancies and recent weight loss. I explained that she would need a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with tightening of the abdominal wall, and I also recommended liposuction of the flanks (love handles) in order to maximize the improvement of her waistline.

I performed a "mommy makeover" which included a Wise pattern (anchor scar) breast lift with a small reduction on the left, a full tummy tuck, and liposuction of the flanks. During surgery, I created a significant lift of the breasts, and tightened the abdominal wall internally by multiple inches, thereby flattening her abdomen and creating a waistline. All of the skin from the bellybutton to the pubic area was removed which helped to contour her abdomen and remove excess stretch marks.

After surgery, the patient recovered nicely and could not believe how much better her breasts and abdomen looked. This patient finally felt that her outward appearance reflected the way she felt on the inside.
