The patient is a 38-year-old female who presented to my office with complaints of breasts that were too large and created back, neck and shoulder issues. The patient also had bulging of the abdominal wall from prior pregnancies, as well as an unsightly vertical abdominal scar from prior emergency surgery. She also had excess fullness in the bra fat and flank area.
I recommended a mommy makeover consisting of an anchor scar breast reduction, liposuction of the bra fat and flank areas, and a full abdominoplasty to flatten her abdomen and to remove most of her vertical scar.
During surgery I performed these procedures and removed approximately 340 grams from her left breast and 400 grams from her right due to a mild asymmetry. I was also able to remove the majority of her vertical abdominal scar with a tummy tuck. She recovered very well after surgery and was extremely happy with her new appearance and the fact that her back, neck and shoulders felt so much better.
