Power Assisted Liposuction Case 306

This patient is a 38-year-old woman from Chandler, Arizona who was unhappy with the changes her body had undergone after pregnancy.  She visited my Scottsdale plastic surgery practice to find out whether a "Mommy Makeover" would create the changes she wanted. Specifically, she felt that her breasts were smaller than she desired, and she did not like the appearance of her abdomen. I felt that a breast augmentation with an abdominoplasty and liposuction of the flanks would give her the best result.

During her procedure, to achieve the most natural-looking results for her body, I tried a few different sizers before choosing 400cc Mentor smooth, round, high profile cohesive silicone gel implants, which I placed below the chest muscles. I also performed a full tummy tuck to tighten her abdominal muscles and abdominal skin. To ensure a more toned appearance and a slimmer waistline, I also performed power-assisted liposuction on her flanks.

After surgery, this patient recovered very well, and was extremely happy with her fuller, perkier breasts. She was also excited by how much narrower and more flattering her waistline appeared after her tummy-tuck and liposuction.
