This patient is a 27 year old female who presented to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice with interest in breast augmentation and breast lift surgery. She was unhappy with shape of her breasts and the size of her areolas, and wished to regain a fuller, perkier look.
I felt that this patient would benefit from silicone breast augmentation with implants placed under the muscle for the most natural contour. I also explained that she would need a vertical (lollipop) breast lift to tighten and lift her breasts.
In surgery, I used Mentor 300cc smooth, round, moderate plus-profile cohesive silicone gel implants. I also performed a vertical incision (lollipop-scar) breast lift to reshape the breasts.
After surgery, the patient was extremely happy with her results and she and she was particularly pleased with the full, perky, but natural shape of her breasts.
