This patient is a 44-year-old female who came to my office with complaints of unnatural appearing breasts. She had previously undergone saline augmentation by another surgeon with 375-cc implants overfilled to approximately 475 cc. The patient had bottomed out and desired smaller more youthful-appearing breasts.
During surgery I exchanged her saline implants to Sientra smooth round moderate profile cohesive silicone gel implants. On the left side, the implant was 350 cc and on the right side, the implant was 380 cc. I also performed a new lollipop breast lift. After surgery she recovered well and was very happy with the improved appearance and more natural feel of her breasts.
