The patient is a 60-year-old female who had a tummy tuck by another surgeon previously and had significant residual laxity as well as a high abdominoplasty scar. I felt the patient would benefit from revision abdominoplasty with liposuction of the flanks.
Additionally this patient had complaints of back, neck and shoulder issues due to large, heavy, pendulous breasts. I felt that bilateral reduction would give the patient the best overall results. She also had excess fullness in the bra fat and lateral chest, and I felt liposuction that of these areas would be beneficial.
During surgery I performed an anchor scar breast reduction with removal of 337 grams from the right breast and 279 grams from the left due to preoperative asymmetry, I also performed a revision abdominoplasty with liposuction of the bra fat, lateral chest and flanks. This patient recovered well after surgery and was extremely pleased with her smaller, perkier breasts and smoother, flatter abdomen.
