This is a 33 year old male that presented to my office with complaints of excess fullness of the chest, abdomen and flanks. I recommended power assisted liposuction of these areas to improve his contours and to create a more athletic and masculine appearance.
During this patients first surgery, I removed the maximum safe amount of aspirate to allow for a discharge home (5 liters). Keeping the fat removal limited to 5 liters also helped the skin to shrink with the minimum risk of irregularities.
6 months later, he looked much better overall, but was interested in even more reduction in size. As a result, I performed a second round of liposuction of these same areas on a smaller scale for maximum improvement.
This patient did very well after each surgery and was extremely happy with his new, more athletic appearance.
