Power Assisted Liposuction Case 189

This patient is a 31 year old female from the Phoenix, Arizona area who presented to my office with interest in "Mommy Makeover" surgery.  Specifically, she felt that her breasts were proportionately too small, and she was unhappy with the loose skin, bulging, and extra fat of her abdomen and flanks (love handles).

I felt that this patient would be an excellent candidate for "Mommy Makeover" surgery including breast augmentation, a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), and liposuction of the flanks (love handles) and bra fat areas.

In surgery, I placed Mentor smooth, round, 450cc moderate plus profile cohesive silicone gel implants through areolar incisions.  The implants were placed under the chest muscles for the most natural result.  I also performed liposuction of the bra fat regions to further contour the breasts.  After this, I performed a full abdominoplasty with liposuction of the flanks.  This achieved a flatter, smoother abdomen with a more defined waistline.

This patient recovered nicely after her surgery and was extremely happy with the overall improvement in her appearance.
