Power Assisted Liposuction Case 233

This 33-year-old woman from the Phoenix, Arizona area was unhappy with the changes her body had undergone after pregnancy, and visited my Scottsdale plastic surgery practice to find out whether a "Mommy Makeover" would create the changes she wanted. Specifically, she felt that her breasts were smaller than she desired, and she did not like the appearance of her abdomen after pregnancy.  I felt that a breast augmentation with an abdominoplasty and liposuction would give her the best result.

During her procedure, to achieve the most natural-looking results for her body, I tried a few different sizers before choosing Mentor 375cc smooth, round, moderate-plus profile cohesive silicone gel implants, which I placed below the chest muscles. I also performed a full tummy tuck to tighten her abdominal muscles and remove excess skin and fat from the lower belly. To ensure a more toned appearance and a slimmer waistline, I performed power-assisted liposuction on her flanks.

After surgery, this patient recovered very well, and was extremely happy with her fuller, perkier breasts. She was also excited by how much narrower and more flattering her waistline appeared after her tummy-tuck and liposuction.
