This patient is a slim 18 year old male that presented to my office will complaints of right unilateral gynecomastia. I felt that direct tissue resection would give the patient the best overall results. During surgery, approximately, 49 g of glandular tissue was removed from the right side via a small areolar incision. This matched the right side to the left, and the patient was extremely happy with his improved contour and symmetry.
