Morpheus8 Is Changing The Skin Care Game

The Morpheus8 device by InMode Aesthetics is an exciting new skin tightening edition to our plastic surgery practice near Scottsdale, AZ. Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency device designed to tighten skin, contour fat, and improve texture in the face, jowls, neck, and virtually any other area of the body.

How does RF skin tightening work?

The device is hallmarked by 24 microneedles that are inserted into the skin which deliver energy in the form of heat to the tissues under the skin. Similar to standard microneedling, this technology also promotes reformation of collagen, but on a significantly higher and more potent level. Delivering heat up to 4 mm beneath the skin (other devices like Vivace only reach 2 to 3 mm), this device can deliver beautiful contours of the neck, jowls, and face with virtually no downtime and no scars. We are even seeing exciting results in the arms, thighs, abdomen, and areas of cellulite. Additionally, significant improvements have been seen in post-acne scar patients.

Does Morpheus8 hurt?

The Morpheus8 procedure is performed in the office by a member of our team under a local anesthetic to ensure your comfort. Treated skin remains slightly red for 24 hours, and there is no post-procedural pain.

How many Morpheus8 treatments do you need?

Patients typically undergo a series of three treatments, spaced six weeks apart. Excellent contour, texture, and tone will be seen following the final treatment.

You may also want to consider complementary procedures to create a more dramatic result. We discuss other highly effective nonsurgical treatments such as FaceTite and AccuTite in related blog posts.

Is Morpheus8 permanent?

Like anything else, no treatments are permanent, and the aging process will always persist no matter what we do. Some maintenance will be required along with excellent skincare in order to see consistency and long-term results.
