The patient is a 56-year-old female who previously presented to my Scottsdale office after multiple prior breast surgeries, with the most recent one being an explant of the right breast due to infection. At the time, the patient did not wish to adjust her left implant, which I felt was somewhat too large for her body type and therefore I simply performed augmentation on the right breast with placement of a piece of Strattice Contour 2. Over time, the patient's right breast settled excessively, creating traction rippling in the medial breast as well as significant upper pole asymmetry. I recommended bilateral revision with downsizing to 385cc moderate plus Sientra implants, as well as pocket tightening, fat grafting and internal tissue reinforcement. She recovered well and was very happy with the smoother, more natural and symmetrical appearance of her breasts.
Surgeon: Dr. Cohen
