Male Breast/Areola Reduction Case 468

This patient is a 26-year-old male who presented to my Scottsdale office with complaints of excess fullness in the chest, which was worse on the left than the right. The patient also had prior chest tube scars from a childhood surgery, and on the right side the scar was tethered fairly deeply. I felt a combination of liposuction of the chest as well as direct gladular tissue removal would create the best possible result.  I also advised revision the tethered chest tube scar.  I performed these procedures and the patient recovered quickly and was very pleased with the flatter, more masculine appearance of his chest.
