Male Breast/Areola Reduction Case 779

The patient is a 40-year-old male who presented to my Paradise Valley office with complaints of excess fullness in the chest, which was worse on the left than the right.  I recommended bilateral correction of gynecomastia with liposuction and direct glandular tissue resection.

In surgery, in addition to liposuction, 54 grams of glandular tissue was removed from the right chest and 107 grams from the left due to a preoperative asymmetry. The patient healed quickly after surgery and was very happy with his flatter, more masculine chest appearance.
