Male Breast/Areola Reduction Case 750

This is a 21 year old male who presented to my Scottsdale practice feeling dissatisfied with the appearance of his breasts. He stated that since puberty, he always felt embarrassed about his large breasts with “puffy nipples.” It was so bad that he always wore two T-shirts in order to hide his breasts. We came up with a treatment plan for his gynecomastia which consisted of direct removal of the glandular tissue combined with liposuction for a refined and contoured chest.

During his surgery, I removed a sizeable amount of breast tissue with direct excision and then contoured his chest with power-assisted liposuction. He is shown postoperatively, feeling confident with his chest, no longer wearing two T-shirts as camouflage!
