Breast Reduction Case 500

This patient is 41-year-old female who presented to my office with complaints of symptomatic macromastia including back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain as well as difficulty exercising. I felt that bilateral breast reduction would give the patient the best overall results. The patient was also noted to have extra fullness in the axillary area bilaterally and I felt power-assisted liposuction of these areas would give her an anesthetic benefit.  During surgery 385 grams were removed from the left breast and 275 grams from the right due to asymmetry and an anchor scar lift was performed.  She recovered well and was very happy with her improved appearance and the resolution of her back and neck pain.
