Breast Lift (Mastopexy) Case 119

This patient is a 48 year old female from the Scottsdale, Arizona area who presented to my Paradise Valley, Arizona area medical practice with interest in a scar revision of an old infected appendectomy scar.  She was also interested in improving her overall physique.

On examination, the patient was noted to have a disfiguring scar of her lower right abdomen.  Luckily, the scar was low enough that I felt I could remove it by performing a tummy tuck procedure.  I felt a tummy tuck would also help with her bulging abdominal wall.

The patient also decided she would like to have breast lift surgery and liposuction of the love handles and thighs in order to improve her overall appearance.

I performed a vertical (lollipop scar) breast lift, to reshape the breasts and avoid a scar under the breasts.  I also performed a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) which allowed me to completely remove the patient's old scar and tighten the abdominal wall.  I also performed power-assisted liposuction of the love handles, inner, and outer thighs to provide the best overall result.

The patient did very well after surgery and was extremely happy with her new appearance.  She was also glad to be rid of her disfiguring abdominal scar.
