Revision Breast Surgery Case 872

This patient is a 67-year-old female who presented to my Scottsdale office with complaints of unnatural appearing breasts which were hard and superiorly malpositioned. The patient had her original surgery performed many decades ago and wished to have a softer and more natural appearance. I felt that bilateral complex revision with complete capsulectomy, implant exchange, reinforcement with GalaFORM and circumareolar mastopexies would give the patient the best overall results. 

During surgery I removed the patient's old implants and capsules and placed new Sientra 300-cc smooth round moderate profile cohesive silicone gel implants.  I reinforced the breast implant position using Galaflex resorbable mesh and performed a tightening around the areolas to improve her nipple positions.  She recovered nicely after surgery and was extremely happy with her softer, more natural appearing breasts.
