This 30-year-old woman from the Phoenix area desired an increase in breast volume when she met with me at my cosmetic surgery offices near Phoenix. Ideally, she wished to go from the A-cup range to the C-cup range while maintaining as natural an appearance as possible.
I felt that this patient would do best with silicone implants placed through an inframammory incision and under the muscles for the most natural appearance. We discussed round vs. anatomical implants due to the patient's relatively wide chest shape and I felt that anatomical implants would give the patient the best overall result.
In the operating room, I felt that the Mentor 395cc MemoryShape, medium height, moderate profile, silicone cohesive gel anatomical implants gave her the best overall shape.
After surgery, this woman recovered very well and is now extremely happy with the natural appearance of her breasts. Her scars are fading nicely and she is very happy with the difference her new shape creates for her entire appearance.
