This is a 36 year old patient who presented to my Scottsdale practice because she heard that I perform subfascial breast augmentations. She was interested in a minimally invasive, muscle-sparing surgery which could get her back to the gym quickly postoperatively. She was hoping for a "full" result and requested a "D" cup postoperatively. As exercising, lifting weights, and going to the gym was important to her, we decided on a subfascial breast augmentation with placement of Galaform 3D bioresorbable mesh for lower pole support. Preoperative sizing she was pleased with implants up to 450 cc.
During her surgery, I placed several sizers, and ultimately chose 425 cc Sientra Moderate Profile Plus smooth round silicone gel implants, as they seemed to give her the size and proportions she was looking for. I supported the implants with Galaform 3D bioresorbable mesh to ensure a long-lasting result with minimal rippling. She is shown postoperatively, loving her result.
