Breast Augmentation Case 78

This patient is a 41 year old female who presented to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice with complaints of breast size smaller than desired.  This patient had smaller breasts her entire life and wished to be in the C-cup range.  She was interested in maintaining a very natural breast appearance.  Please note that her large abdominal scar was from a prior (non-elective) surgery performed by a vascular surgeon.

I recommended silicone implants placed under the muscle and through the areola for the best overall result.  Due to pre-existing asymmetry, I explained that she might need two different sized implants for the best overall match.

In the operting room, I used Mentor smooth, round, moderate-plus profile cohesive silicone gel implants.  The right implant was 400cc and the left was 450cc to correct for preoperative asymmetry.

After surgery, the patient healed extremely well and was thrilled with the larger, attractive, natural appearance of her breasts.  As she explained to me: after having gone through a lot of difficult experiences, the breast augmentation was a really positive experience that truly boosted her self-confidence and feeling of beauty.
