This patient is a 28 year old female from the Sun City, Arizona area who came to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice with interest in breast augmentation and breast lift surgery. This patient's breasts had "deflated" after pregnancy, and she was interested in having fuller, perkier, natural appearing breasts.
I felt that this patient would be a great candidate for breast augmentation surgery with a circumareolar mastopexy (tightening around the areolas) in order to reshape and lift the breasts while minimizing scarring.
In surgery, I felt that the Mentor smooth, round, 450cc high profile cohesive silicone gel implants gave the patient the best overall improvement. The implants were placed uder the pectoralis (chest) muscles. After the implants were in place, I was able to tighten the breast skin and lift the breasts while leaving a scar around the areola only.
After surgery, the patient recovered very well and was extremely happy with the fuller and perkier appearance of her breasts.
